we have nothing in our hands at the moment that keeps us from getting a new v70 out the door. i really miss the organization of the tabs and the ability to make an individual window tab smaller - which i used to enjoy. It's still slow as f. .! once firefox 69 is out - i'll give that another shot. i know this is all not worth much but it is easy enough to remove the clutter. i find the ability to reset firefox as a feature to be extremely useful. i use add-ons for content filtering, browser security and the default xul configuration that allows me to find and act on links on the web page. i use firefox for e-books and online content at university. i honestly think that firefox adds unnecessary features but that is a subject for a much lengthier article. i'm fully aware that my reasoning has been weakened by the fact that i have been a user of firefox for 12 years and that over these years the default configuration has been tweaked to make the product more suitable for web browsing. as it is, i agree with the previous comments that beta is very confusing. perhaps they thought that beta 4 would be useful. everyone knows that there will be a firefox 69 release and we will know what that contains by the end of august. and by allowing users to have a beta release, it helps increase the number of users of firefox which helps new developers to focus on implementing the next version of firefox. the firefox team obviously thinks that beta releases are important. it's a tool that allows mozilla to do basic testing before rolling out a new version for all users.
